If you are faced with installing data cabling in your premises, as long as the cable run is less than 90 metres from the patch panel to the outlet, you are fine.
However, if your data cable runs are more than 90m, then your cabling will not run at Gb speeds and it will fail a fluke test. Although digital or analogue phones will work on cables longer than 90 metres, any computer device will not work as it should. The longer the cable is over 90 metres, the more degradation in speed.
So, for larger runs and larger premises, you will need to install local structured cabling running back to a local cabinet and then link back to a main cabinet using fibre optic cabling.
We can install fibre cabling for you as well as copper link cables (you will need these for digital or analogue devices as well as direct phone lines). We can also design and supply your network switch infrastructure.
