Recording calls and voice conversations of staff and callers has always been an attractive feature of a business telephone system.
IP Office provides call recording facilities in various ways – some are general recording solutions that can be used for training and monitoring. For recording you can rely on in court, see Encrypted Call recording below.
When deployed with Professional Edition, a user can be given the option of on-demand call recording – so when they are on a call, they press a short code or 'Record' button and the remainder of the call will be recorded – they will be sent a voicemail containing the call recording.
Recording calls across multiple users
When adding Contact Store to IP Office's Professional Edition, calls can be recorded on a user-by-user basis and stored centrally on the Preferred Edition PC server for archiving, retrieval and playback. Note a recorded call uses a voicemail port.

If you want a more serious solution that you can rely on as legal evidence, then IP office does not offer this – we recommend you investigate a more sophisticated solution such as Oak Record.
