Often, as part of an office refurbishment, fit-out or relocation project, there are requirements to provide Office Furniture.

If you are intending to use existing furniture in your new office, this may have to be dismantled and moved, and then re-assembled. Whilst this may work out in your favour, it can also add cost to your relocation costs and some furniture may not re-assemble easily. It may also be worth having your furniture audited and measured and having the dimensions inserted into a CAD (Computer-Aided Design) space plan drawing in order to maximise the space.

If you intend to buy new furniture, bear in mind there can be significant lead times (weeks, sometimes months) depending on what you require.

Bench Desking Systems – Provides optimal occupancy and smart contemporary style. Configurable to suit any application and designed for IT and cable management. Metal frame finished in white, silver or graphite with tops in contrasting contemporary striking designer MFC finishes. Becoming the ubiquitous standard and the most cost effective desking solution.

Boardroom Furniture - A quality conventional veneer table and matching meeting chairs oozes a certain gravitas. With contemporary veneers in striking combination or with coloured glass. All shapes and sizes with different base options and IT provision, a quality boardroom table will set the tone for high level meetings.

Reception Furniture – Greet your guests in style with a striking and elegant reception desk manufactured from fine quality veneers and incorporating polished stainless steel and glass. Sometimes informal and contemporary furniture is more appropriate, creating a common space for staff and customers to meet with each other.

Filing & Storage – Ideally deploy an electronic document management system and dispose of your paper documents! Ask my Document Solutions colleagues about electronic Document Management. If you need to file paper then the most efficient unit is a lateral filing cupboard with suspension filing rails. Rails are fixed into the cupboard and files are filled and removed via the suspension file vertical sides. Available as desk high units also. Invest in durable polypropylene suspension files.

Seating – How many hours do you and your staff sit at your desks? Posture support is critical if staff are to be productive. A good quality chair which provides comfort and posture support is essential. A typical quality ‘task chair’ will prove a wise investment for your staff and the company. We have a customer who invested in quality task chairs 20 years ago and they are still sitting comfortably in those same chairs.
